Buyer Beware!!! I ordered a pair of shoes that did not fit and they wanted me to return them to China which was going to cost me over a $100 from the US. Or almost double the cost of the shoes.
Return is SOOOOOO EXPENSIVE! DONT BUY THIS!

Imagine thinking you're going on a date with Aquaman, but then all of a sudden (17 days later) Spongebob shows up on your doorstep.
Quality of the specs is poor. Design is not refined at all and the part that rests on your nose bridge is litteraly made of gold colored plastic. Also lousy customerservice, I tried to cancel my order because I found out that they are located in China after I made a purchase, but they only would give me back the money for the frame.
Recently ordered two pairs of shoes from Tijn . The company was very good in their communication, letting me know that the shoes would be coming a little bit later than expected. When they arrived they were as adorable as I hoped they would be. And super comfortable, especially the high tops!!
****DO NOT ORDER FROM TIJN****
(I promise I'm not an *sshole)
I only left a star because it required me to in order to make a post... This is my first time leaving a review for ANY establishment, so please take this seriously.
I am unsure if this company is fake (it has no contact number or additional information to prove otherwise), or just ill-equipt to handle invoices and orders appropriately/in a timely manner. Tijn has truly surprised me with their business ethics, or I guess I should say, lack thereof.
I will leave a summary of my experience below, should you have more inquiries.
"This is the worst experience I have ever had ordering anything online. I sent my full spectacle prescription as an attachment to avoid any conflict because I lost mine and I need them to drive. Almost a week later, they messaged me about my pupillary distance (which was not included in the order form). I went back to look at the site and there was no place to enter this information. I had to go back to my optometrist and sent that information in the same day. A few days later, they told me that they would not be able to make glasses for me with the light-responsive feature. I asked them to switch to light-responsive and/or remove the feature and apply the difference to immediate shipping costs. They then told me they canceled my order and I would receive a refund in 7-9 business days. It has been 14 days and I'm still unsure if I'll receive glasses or a refund."
TIJN- What if I killed someone because I cannot see at night? Who's fault would that be?
Luckily, I won't drive until this issue is resolved.

I am not someone who has ever left a review, but this was the absolute worst online ordering experience I have ever dealt with. For starters, it’s been almost three months and I still don’t have the glasses I ordered. The company’s customer service is tragic. They do not allow phone calls. Instead they only contact costumers via email where the employees are extremely rude and incompetent. 4 weeks after I ordered my glasses and realized they still had not shipped, I emailed the company about changing the shipping address because I was moving. They assured me that everything would be taken care of. When I still hadn’t heard from them or seen that the package had been shipped 7 weeks later I contacted them again. We corresponded multiple times back and forth where they continued to lie to me and tell me that the shipping address had been changed (which it hadn’t) and my package would be shipped soon. As soon as the package was shipped they claimed it was out of their hands despite me reiterating that I had asked them to change the address three times before it shipped. Instead they directed me to a sketchy tracking website that could not locate my package. After all the hassle, I asked if I could speak to upper management. The company then never responded and I haven’t heard from them since. I also contacted my old landlord and they said there was never a package sent to my old apartment, so who knows where the glasses are? Would strongly advise steering clear from this horrific website.
Terrible customer service… I purchased a purse for $60 and it was of very poor quality. I bought it as a gift and decided not to give it because I was embarrassed of the quality. When I asked to return the product for a refund they indicated I would need to ship it back to China (from Canada) at my own expense, which would cost as much as the purse itself. Don’t waste your time or money, shop somewhere else.
Absolutely utterly horrible. Who would think that a company shipping prescription glasses would not accept returns. Plus their ads are completely misleading the photos make the glasses look much bigger. Terrible. Don't buy. And no talking to them either
I ordered glasses from this company and simply asked them for an address for their business location so that I could submit receipts to my insurance company for a refund, they replied with “sorry we do not provide this service” when I again contacted them because I needed an email with a valid date on it (my original one did not include an order date) again for insurance purposes, they replied with “sorry we do not provide this type of service”. I felt it was a pretty simple request, and not I can’t get my insurance money refunded.
I liked the decent shipping and style of frames. I bought maaike and have been wearing them for 5 months. There is a gold coating on the metal part that has FADED. I live in humid, hot weather and wear sensitive makeup as well as skincare, so I was very surprised at how fast it faded. It’s been weeks and the gold is really deteriorating where the frames touch my temples and at the ends that hook behind my ears. I don’t know what the exposed metal is REALLY made of but I have a rash behind my ear that oozed pus, as well as a rash on my temple on the same side ear. I’m very concerned I’ve been wearing glasses for 12 years and have never had a reaction to my glasses frames before! I am, however, sensitive to metals (all my piercings must be real gold or hypoallergenic) so what metal is tjin really using? T90 and “high grade metals” is way too vague.
I really want to include an image of my rash because it has discolored the skin around my ear. Delete spaces. https: //ibb.co/ GQBdF18
Build quality is cheap. When requested to return was provided return address in China. This is clearly done to make returns as difficult as possible as the refund won't be worth the shipping cost. No where on the website mentioned that return address would be in China. Save yourself sometime and money and do not buy from them.
